Individual therapy can be a valuable resource in healing from mental, emotional, physical and spiritual anguish. It can also be a powerful catalyst for transformative growth.

Justifiably, therapy can feel intimidating. How often in our lives do we intentionally create space or dedicate time to explore the many dimensions of our interior and exterior lives? Life’s demands has made it very difficult to do this. It’s also difficult to explore these facets of our life when doing it alone. Sometimes the presence of an other is needed - to bring dialogue, embodiment, attunement and compassion for the purpose of self-reflection. These are traits I try to embody. I believe greater self-reflection can be achieved through this presence and can help illuminate patterns of unconscious living, leading to the raising of consciousness, which is the foundation of transformative growth and healing.

Therapy can act like a compass

I believe that therapy is a journey to compliment the personal journey of the patient.  I also believe the space created for this exploration is sacred.  In this sacred space, an intimate exploration of thoughts, feelings, memories, attitudes and habits will give rise to understand our morals, values and ethics, which help define the way of our journey. An honest examination and re-evaluation of these value systems can re orientate us to live a life more in alignment with authenticity, integrity, love and courage.

What can you expect?

  • An initial over the phone consultation can be used to ensure that both you and myself feel each other to be the right fit

  • An assessment is used to gain knowledge and insights into your life and the presenting problems and symptoms.  Assessments are an unfolding process.  One cannot expect to get all relevant information out of the first session to create a treatment plan.

  • The treatment plan is a collaboration between therapist and yourself to identify goals to work towards.  This treatment plan is periodically reviewed to measure where we stand in obtaining those goals.  This can also afford the chance to alter or change initial goals or add new ones

  • Authenticity from myself.  I want to be as real with you about the therapeutic process and how I think things are going.  I hope for authenticity from you too.  Feedback is a necessary process.  As it is in any relationship

  • Commitment.  I am committed to you.  To your work, to your experience, to your healing.  I hope for commitment from you too.

Rates

  • $200.00 per session - 50 minutes

I am not accepting insurance at this time. However, some insurances provide reimbursement for out-of-network services, and I can provide the necessary documents for that reimbursement
