About Me

As a dual-licensed therapist in Georgia and Utah, I have over a decade of experience providing clinical care to individuals, families and groups in various settings that include: private practice, wilderness/adventure therapy, and therapeutic boarding schools. I’m passionate about the concepts of growth and transformation as it relates to the psychological, social, and spiritual realms of our human experience and seek to integrate this into my practice. As the founder of Apraxis Center, I found a way to bridge both traditional and experiential therapies that are holistic, integrative and experiential through using an eco-integrative model of care.

My specialties include: Anxiety, Depression, Life Transitions, Grief/Loss, Interpersonal Relations, Spirituality and Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy

Traditional Therapy & Experiential Adventure Based Therapy Excursions

Apraxis Center is a therapeutic practice comprised of a collective of clinicians dedicated to providing both traditional therapy as well as experiential adventure-based therapy excursions. We seek to improve the well-being of individuals and communities through an integrative model of care. We place relationality at the center of our care, for we know that our well being is contingent on having healthy relationships with self, others, your community and nature.

Our services include…

  • Individual Therapy

  • Couples Therapy

  • Family Therapy

  • Adventure-Based Therapy Excursions

My Lens

I view our psychological well-being through an ecological model of growth and development. This ecological lens provides an understanding that our development, which includes how we know, how we perceive and how we interact, is impacted through our relationships in our environments. By examining these relationships to self, others, technology and nature, as well as the institutions and ideologies that all make up our environments, we can begin to understand at a deeper and more holistic level how our relationships are the source of distress and dis-ease or flourishing and well-being.
